How to Apply for DEPARTMENT Scholarships

The Department of Building Construction (BC) and Myers-Lawson School of Construction is fortunate to have generous benefactors who care about helping students achieve their educational goals through financial assistance and merit recognition of deserving students.

Our scholarships are awarded annually in the spring to rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors in BC. We have both need-based and merit-based, in-state and out-of-state requirements for differing scholarships. Completing all components of the Building Construction General Scholarship application will ensure that you will be considered for any scholarship for which you are eligible. Please take considerable time and care to prepare your scholarship application. The General Scholarship Application deadline is March 1, 2023, at which time the application process will be closed. Scholarship awards will be made by May 1, 2022.
