
Virginia Tech Students Win Big at Construction Competition
Exemplifying "Hands-on, Minds-on" learning, 13 Building Construction students, 8 Construction Engineering and Management students, and an Architecture student competed at the 2015 ASC Student Competition in Greensboro, NC. Bob Muir, Eric Wetzel, Thom Mills, and Lora Howard accompanied and supported the students. Virginia Tech took home the most awards with three student awards and one faculty award. This equated to twice as many awards as Clemson and Florida, and three more than Auburn, UNC, NC State, Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, Kennesaw State, and Mississippi State.
