The Building Construction Department is excited to welcome Shelton Norwood as the new advisor for freshmen and sophomore students. Shelton received his undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech and is currently completing his Master’s in Higher Education Administration. A native of Emporia, Virginia, Shelton has lived in Blacksburg for the last 15 years. He comes to us from the Sociology department where he advised over 500 students. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, seeing movies, traveling, as well as spending time with family and friends. Shelton is an avid football fan (both NFL and Collegiate) and cheers his Hokies on at any sporting event. Shelton is passionate when it comes to working with students and is looking forward to meeting each of you.
